HeatShield Cerfractory Foam is an insulating, high-temperature refractory mortar, developed specifically for spray coating smoke chamber walls. When properly applied, it will restore the integrity of your fireplace. This product will insulate, seal gaps, and smooth the smoke chamber walls as required by both NFPA and IRC codes. HeatShield Cerfractory Foam is an eco-friendly product made from recycled and naturally occurring materials rated up to 2900° F. Because the material can be sprayed into the smoke chamber through the narrow damper opening, there is no need to demolish the damper and firebox to gain access for repair.
