Easy Application Steps:
- Prepare the Crown: For optimal results, cover the crown with Form Foil, a self-adhesive aluminum foil flashing (sold separately).
- Mix the Product: Combine one scoop of CrownSaver (scoop included) with three scoops of fine mason’s sand and water.
- Apply: Trowel the mixture over the crown to a thickness of approximately ½" (minimum ¼", maximum 2").
- Seal the Flue Base: Apply a ½" bead of caulk at the base of each flue tile to allow for expansion.
