Description
The Premier Damper Cap is made of 304 stainless steel, has a removable lid for easy access when cleaning, and features an insulated damper cap! The lid provides protection from the elements, limiting ice and snow build-up.
The insulated damper cap is constructed with 1/2” thick insulation, inserted between two pieces of 24 gauge, 304 stainless steel. This fortified insulation prevents home heating and cooling costs from escalating by keeping air from escaping through the chimney flue. The damper cap is sealed tightly with a gasket, and bonded with silicone, both of which are made to withstand temperatures ranging from -85° to 450° F. The Premier Damper Cap includes a 50’ cable, and is made standard with 3/4” expanded mesh screening, with available California 5/8” mesh screening. This product comes with a lifetime guarantee.
