This connector is specifically designed for use with natural draft appliances and is not suitable for Category II, III, or IV gas-burning appliances. It should not be used with appliances that generate condensation, corrosive acids, or positive pressure in the chimney system, as defined by the National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54).
